Field Service Engineer
£35,000 plus overtime available

Our client has worked over the last 40 years to develop and bring to the market a full range of battery chargers, switch trippers, UPS, batteries, and system services for all types of AC and DC standby applications. Responsibilities and Duties
- To organise & complete service visits according to manufacturer's recommendations.
- To position, install and commission equipment at customer sites.
- To repair equipment.
- To advise Head Office of any sales opportunities identified during the course of duties.
- To promote our company and act in a professional and diplomatic manner at all times.
- To adhere to quality standards at all times.
- To undertake other reasonable tasks as requested.
- Survey new and existing sites for installation purposes
- Feedback quality issues to the office
- To plan & organise sales visits to existing and prospective customers.
- To promote the sale of the Company's products & services.
- To report on the outcome and follow-up action resulting from all sales visits.
Desirable Skills:
- Electrical/electronic fault finding
- Electromechanical installation
- Customer accreditation eg. UKPN, National Grid, London Underground
- Physical ability to do the job (manual handling)
- Attention to detail
- Analytical problem solving
- Good, clear, timely reporting
