We have an exciting opportunity Welder Fabricator to join a leading precision sheet metal fabrication organisation.
The Welder Fabricator role involves joining metal parts by following sketches and specifications. You will be responsible for inspecting equipment and structures
Days/Hours of Work
Rotating shift pattern:
Week 1 – 06:00am – 14:00pm
Week 2 – 14:00pm – 22:00pm
Rates of Pay
£13.23 - £15.00 Per Hour Depending upon Experience
Duties & Responsibilities
- TIG & MIG Welding of precision sheet metal components
- Fabricating sheet metal using hand tools
- Working on thing gauge metals
- Working to engineering drawings
- Finishing, fettling , and grinding own work.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of specific welding processes, such as TIG, MIG and ARC
- Skilled in sheet metal fabrication
- Ability to use a variety of tools and equipment.
- Basic math's skills and mechanical aptitude
- Ability to read drawings and recognise welding symbols and specifications
- Knowledge of industry safety practices
