Position:Multi-skilled Engineer
Location:Louth, Lincolnshire
Salary:£43,343
Shift:Monday to Thursday - Rotation of 6am-6pm / 6pm-6am

Are you a skilled multi-skilled engineer with a preference for electrical bias, looking for an exciting opportunity? Look no further! Our client in Louth, Lincolnshire, is seeking a dedicated individual to join their dynamic team. As part of a rapidly expanding company, you'll play a crucial role with the manufacturing teams to ensure all machines are running to their full potential.

Key Duties:

  • Carrying out planned maintenance activities
  • Routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs
  • Troubleshooting and fault finding
  • Installation of equipment and machinery across various departments
  • Ensure that all machines are running optimally by working closely with the Manufacturing teams
  • Carry out effective shift changeover communication routines
  • Timely and effective reporting of required information

Requirements:

  • Time-served, preferably from a manufacturing background
  • Electrically biased and mechanically skilled
  • National Vocational Qualification in Engineering or equivalent City & Guilds, HNC/HND
  • Proven track record of fault finding and diagnostic skills
  • Ability to proactively respond to ever-changing production demands
  • Strong verbal and numerical skills
  • Good understanding of IT and ability to work with planned maintenance and stock control systems
  • Positive attitude towards Health and Safety at all times
  • Self-motivated and driven to achieve high standards of output at all times
