Assistant Management Accountant

We are seeking an Assistant Management Accountant to join our client’s dynamic finance team in Lowestoft. This role involves assisting the Finance Manager in empowering colleagues to make informed financial decisions and providing guidance to achieve financial objectives.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Produce, review, and distribute various financial reports.
- Process month-end accounting adjustments to ensure accurate reporting of monthly financial results.
- Review and analyse income and costs, including budget variances.
- Partner with various departments and management to support financial decision-making.
- Ensure effective internal communication with colleagues.
- Assist in budget setting and posting journals.
- Provide absence cover for the line manager on priority tasks.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Relevant professional qualification – AAT (Essential); part-qualified ACCA, CIMA (Desirable).
- Experience in an assistant management accounting role, or similar (Essential).
- Intermediate Excel skills (Essential).
- Experience in a dynamic finance environment (Essential).
- Ability to build effective professional relationships.
