We are delighted to be recruiting for a great opportunity for an Artworker for our client based in Lowestoft. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established and successful company.

You will need to be conversant with industry standard desktop publishing software in order to prepare artwork for various projects ranging from presentation sales aids to large format digital graphics.

You will need to be able to liaise and work closely with internal and external stakeholders. The successful candidate will work 37.5hrs, Monday-Friday, 8.30-17:00. 

The role will involve the following:

  • Prepare artwork utilising software packages in studio; Microsoft Office, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Indesign, Workflow Management and ERP (Shuttleworth).
  • An understanding of technical drawings, site surveys and conversion to bill of manufacture.
  • Restoring artwork from archives and making available for production departments.
  • Creating and processing job sheets via ERP System (Shuttleworth).
  • Prioritizing new and repeat work, releasing to production following agreed production planning.
  • Calculating material usage / requirement.
  • Maintain and update computerised records.
  • Ensure efficient use of equipment, raw materials and Studio consumables.
  • Occasional offsite visits for meetings with clients and site surveys for projects.

Although not all items are absolute requirements and provision for training will be provided, as wide a knowledge base as possible is an advantage.

  • Adobe Suite, Office 365 and ERP (Shuttleworth).
  • Colour Management.
  • Javascript / Applescript.
