Butler Rose is pleased to be supporting out Luton based client who's seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join the team.

You will play a pivotal role in managing the day-to-day financial operations. From invoicing and payments to tax reporting and payroll processing, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of the financial transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee financial transactions, including invoicing and payments.
  • Maintain accurate records of customers, suppliers, and subcontractors.
  • Perform regular bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
  • Prepare and submit tax reports and payments as required.
  • Assist with payroll processing and employee documentation.
  • Generate financial reports for management review.
  • Handle administrative tasks and provide support to the team as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or similar role.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
