Here at Intersafe, we’re seeking a Fixed Wire Test Engineer to join our team based in the South to North West London area (Watford, Slough, Reading, Winchester, Luton).Over the 30 years we’ve been in business we’ve worked hard to establish ourselves as a company that provides a 5-star service to our customers with the ultimate goal being safety. What we offer:
We’re looking to offer a salary of £38,000with an OTE of up to £48,000 for this role and are open to candidates of various levels. In addition, we offer a company vehicle, fuel card and 20 days holiday per year plus Bank Holidays.
 Key areas of responsibility:
·This role involves conducting fixed wire testing and completing laptop-based EICR reports, mainly for large commercial organisations
·You will complete emergency light testing and occasional remedial work, as well as thermographic surveys (full training will be provided).
·All work must be completed in accordance with the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (18th Edition training will be provided for the right candidate).
·Regular travel will be required within the South UK region.
Experience required for the role:
·C&G 2391 or 2394/95 qualified & C&G 2360, 2330 (or equivalent) Level 3 in Electrical installations
·C&G 2382, 18th Edition qualified (18th edition training can be provided) with at least 1 year of testing experience in a similar environment
·You will enjoy a varied working pattern (whilst some days are 9am-5pm, others will require you to complete the testing out of hours or, occasionally, at weekends)
·Ability to work unsupervised, use own initiative and have a good attention to detail. You will have a positive attitude, a flexible approach to work and ability to adapt to clients' needs
