Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one and group support to students with special educational needs.
- Assist the class teacher in implementing individualised education plans (IEPs) and behaviour management strategies.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment for students with diverse learning needs.
- Collaborate with colleagues and external professionals to ensure the holistic development of students.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and support interventions.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with young people, particularly those with special educational needs.
- Understanding of various SEN conditions and effective support strategies.
- DBS certificate on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility, adaptability, and a positive attitude towards challenges.
