Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-to-one and group support to students with special educational needs.
  • Assist the class teacher in implementing individualised education plans (IEPs) and behaviour management strategies.
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment for students with diverse learning needs.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and external professionals to ensure the holistic development of students.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and support interventions.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with young people, particularly those with special educational needs.
  • Understanding of various SEN conditions and effective support strategies.
  • DBS certificate on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility, adaptability, and a positive attitude towards challenges.
