Key Account Manager /Technical Sales Engineer required for a company who are trusted suppliers of welding, brazing and coating technologies in heavy duty and wear intensive industries. This company has transitioned from being a family owned business into a global company while maintaining their industry expertise, people focus and deep rooted belief in sustainability.

This role will specialise in selling wear products and services into the Cement, Ready Mixed Concrete, Asphalt and Aggregate industries.

Salary package, Basic of between £50k-£60k + commission circa £10k but no ceiling, so potential OTE of £70k+ (+ Co Car + other benefits, Pension, life assurance, 25 days holiday + bank holidays).

Location : Covering whole of UK. Home based, with periodic visits to UK Head Office in West Midlands. Ideal location for this role would be West Midlands / North West / Yorkshire / Home Counties although experience is more important than exact location, so UK wide locations would still be suitable.

Key Account Manager / Technical Sales Engineer

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Technical Engineer / Key Account Manager to sell Wear products, Wear Treatments, Wear support and services into the Cement, Ready Mixed Concrete, Asphalt and Aggregate Industries. The KAM will be responsible for sales development and technical support.

Skills and Experience

-Ideal candidates will have experience in wear products, wear services and wear solutions and preferably have an industrial background.

-Previous experience in a Technical Sales / Key Account Management / Sales Engineer role in a related industry is preferred however we would also consider applicants with good technical and industry experience who would now like to move into a more sales focussed position.

Experience of working in our target industries of Cement, Ready Mixed Concrete, Asphalt and Aggregate

General Key Account Manager / Technical Sales Engineer skills including:

*Selling; both relationship building and solution based selling, Field Sales Experience, Business Development, Account Management, Technical Sales or a high level of Technical and industry experience and now looking for a move into a more sales focussed role.

*Prospecting for new customers and acquiring new accounts.

? Heavy Industrial experience

? Planning and time management

? Mechanical aptitude

? Basic computer skills

? Knowledge or experience in maintenance and repair welding
