Shifts 6am to 2pm /  2pm to 10pm / 10pm to 6am  / 6am to 6pm and 6pm to 6am (24/5 operation)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent the company professionally and manage confidentiality at all times.
  • Care for all site tools and equipment, both company and personal, reporting any loss or damage to the Manager.
  • Reset equipment errors caused by product, equipment, or operator issues.
  • Step into the Engineering Assistant role if required.
  • Perform cleaning and hygiene tasks as needed.
  • Work primarily to a planned shift pattern, with flexibility to cover other shifts at short notice if required.
  • Communicate clearly and concisely, both internally and externally.
  • Support equipment and systems in response to customer requirements.
  • Participate in team project activities and follow escalation procedures.
  • Attend all relevant training courses as offered by your manager.

  • Education and Skills:
  • Engineering qualification (NVQ, B-Tec, C&G, HNC/ONC)
  • Proficient in PC Skills – MS Office and CMMS (Computer Maintenance Systems)

Organisational:

  • Mechanical/Electrical Maintenance background
  • Understanding of automation and control systems
  • Strong customer-facing skills and effective communicator
  • Experience with Continuous Improvement initiatives
