Morson are currently recruiting for an exciting opportunity as a Project Manager to join one of the largest international construction groups, who deliver complex infrastructure projects across the globe. The company delivers world-class projects by investing in innovation, efficiency, and skills to build solutions that work for people, for the environment and for the long term. The role is based in Swindon and offering a competitive salary, plus car allowance, pension, and contributory health care scheme.

Skills and experience:
• A Civil Engineering degree or other relevant qualification
• Demonstrated experience of at least a decade in project-based engineering, preferably encompassing Highways, Bridges or Structures construction projects.
• Demonstrated adaptability and commitment to meeting deadlines.
• Strong communication abilities essential for effective teamwork and cultivating relationships both internally and externally.
• Capacity for independent initiative, creative thinking, and adept problem-solving skills.

Key responsibilities include:
• Guide the project team in upholding compliance standards and striving for excellence across all project facets.
• Oversee the opportunities and risk assessment process, ensuring thorough utilization of ARM (Asset and Risk Management), and conduct regular reviews accordingly.
• Maintain, review, and update the project schedule in alignment with project specifications. Collaborate with relevant section managers to identify deviations from planned outputs, devise improvement strategies, and address commercial considerations.
• Ensure adherence to the projects change management protocols as per contractual, sub contractual, project, and organizational guidelines. Optimise commercial prospects while fostering sustainable relationships with stakeholders.
• Assist the company in achieving corporate objectives, strategies, and initiatives spanning project and organizational domains.
• Provide assistance to business development and acquisition efforts as needed, including coordinating the utilization of project resources.
