Are you a meticulous and detail-oriented Bookkeeper looking for an exciting opportunity? If so, we have an amazing role for you with a fantastic small practice located in Lymm.

The Role & Company

Join a family-run and rapidly growing independent accountancy practice as a Bookkeeper. In this role you will work closely with a wide range of clients across various industries, providing essential financial support and guidance.

Key responsibilities:

  • Reconcile banks and the other main nominal accounts quickly and accurately, through to preparing quality management accounts for your portfolio of clients.
  • Prepare VAT returns.
  • Manage multiple clients, often to tight deadlines as well as working in an open plan office.

What you bring to the table

  • Minimum of 4 years of previous experience in a similar role with a UK accountancy practice
  • Strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite (particularly, Excel) and online bookkeeping packages like QuickBooks Online
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in working with numbers
  • Solid understanding of financial regulations and compliance
  • Located in and legally authorised to work in the UK
