Technical Business Analyst

Location: Lyndhurst (hybrid working)

Hours: 37 hours a week. Monday to Friday

Salary: £34,541 to £38,245 per annum (pay award pending)

Acorn by Synergie is currently seeking an experienced Technical Business Analyst, required by their client, based in the heart of the stunning New Forest National Park. The role offers one full-time position and one fixed contract.

What are we looking for?

As a Technical Business Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in our digital transformation journey. You will be responsible for analysing business processes, identifying opportunities for improvement, and implementing cutting-edge solutions. You will be part of a team of business analysts, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project delivery.

We're looking for a talented, forward-thinking Technical Business Analyst who can blend technical expertise with a deep understanding of our business needs using proven Business Analysis skills to deliver technical change.

Working in a friendly and supportive team, we offer flexible hybrid working with a mixture of remote and on-site attendance to meet the demands of the projects.

Skills, Knowledge & Experience:

Essential:

  • Industry-recognised Business Analysis or equivalent qualification or actively working towards E.g. BCS, PMI, Agile, Lean Six Sigma.
  • Proven experience working as a technical business analyst, working in an ICT environment.
  • Competent in business analysis techniques, requirements gathering, management and workshop facilitation.
  • Understanding of the software development lifecycle.
  • Ability to analyse and document business/user requirements, functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Exposure to full change lifecycle from Business Case development through to embedding outcomes in the business and benefits realisation.
  • Experience working with, configuring, and implementing cloud based digital systems.

Desirable:

  • Experience in digital transformation
  • Experience with business intelligence and data analytics tools.
  • Technical Knowledge of cloud computing platforms (example. Azure)
  • Business Improvement skills / experience

Main responsibilities

  • Analyse, evaluate, enhance and document business processes, systems, and requirements to drive efficiency and innovation
  • Ensure technical solutions deliver measurable business value by defining success metrics, tracking performance and optimising return on investment.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvements and digital solutions.
  • Develop and present business cases for new initiatives and projects.
  • Work closely with IT and Transformation teams to ensure successful implementation of solutions.
  • Monitor project progress and report on key metrics and deliverables.
  • Support the technical configuration of products.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in digital transformation and business analysis.
