Registered Manager EBD

We are looking for an experienced Registered Manager in children's residential that would like to join a company that values staff and children first. Our homes provide therapeutic, Mental Health, EBD and complex trauma support services.

The Registered Manager will oversee all aspects of the home's operation, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, promoting a safe and supportive environment, and fostering the personal development and well-being of each child in our care.

Responsibilities  Registered Manager EBD

  • To implement and work in accordance with of all aspects of the Statement of Purpose for your service
  • Develop and implement care plans tailored to the individual needs of each child, in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
  • Ensure the home operates in compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations, and standards, including Ofsted requirements.
  • Maintain effective communication with external agencies, families, and other stakeholders to promote collaborative working and positive outcomes for the children.
  • Take responsibility for the overall management of the home, including budget management, staff recruitment and training.
  • Uphold safeguarding policies and procedures to ensure the safety and welfare of all children and staff.
  • Carry out routine meetings, supervisions, probationary reviews and lead on investigations for any concerns raised with your staff team
  • Attending childcare reviews and planning meetings to provide information and achieve best outcomes for young people

Qualifications and Skills

  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People’s Services; or equivalent; or preparedness to work towards the same.
  • Demonstrate commitment to continuing professional development.
  • Three years of experience working with children in the last five years and at least one year at senior level
  • Supervision or management experience
