My Client, an established firm of accountants, based in mid-Kent, is looking to appoint due to the growth and success of their Firm. They are looking for an experienced Audit & Accounts Senior or Manager to join their firm. They pride themselves on their delivery of high quality services to their client base. They have a team of experienced qualified specialists who support the Partners and have the ability to support the training and development of less experienced staff.They are a generalist firm who have a wide range of client whom they service in audit, accounts, and taxation. Their client base is varied, consisting of owner managed businesses as well as subsidiaries of listed companies, in many different industries with varied turnovers so this will allow you to gain exposure to a very broad client base. They are an authorised training office for Chartered and Chartered Certified qualifications and also support AAT, ATT, and CTA qualifications. The role:- Working on a mixture of audit and accounts work- Preparation of FRS102 accounts - Planning and completing statutory audits, supervising more junior staff on audit assignments- Preparing corporation tax computations - Use of QuickBooks, Xero CCH accounts software, and Sage & Mercia, audit pack would be a benefit but is not essentialThey are looking for a professional individual with well-rounded experience with the ability to communicate well. You will maintain a good working relationship with clients and fit in well with colleagues in a friendly office environment. They are looking for a qualified ACA or ACCA or someone studying and close to qualifying.They will support study if required and they offer a flexi-time, working arrangement which provides a degree of flexibility for all employees in relation to hours and working from home. They also have parking on site. This role could be on a full-time or part-time basis, (a minimum of 3 days per week). The role would be a mix of audit, accounts, tax, etc., with audit (and related accounts work).
