Our client is a successful and modern Chartered Accountancy Practice with lovely offices near Maidstone. They are looking for a Senior Accountant to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience within Practice, looking to take the next step in their career.As Senior Accountant you will work with clients from a range of industries – mainly limited companies but there may be some sole traders. Your main responsibilities will include:

Preparing year end statutory accounts and tax calculations
Reviewing and preparing VAT returns
Checking client bookkeeping and helping them with queries
Monthly management accounts
Assisting on audits

In order to be considered candidates must have recent Practice experience and be competent in preparing year end accounts. The role involves a lot of client contact so you will be confident to talk to clients and HMRC. This is ideal for someone studying ACCA or ACA or someone qualified by experience.This is a great opportunity to take a step up with a mid-size firm who can provide exposure to a range of large and complex clients.
