The Practice, situated in Kent, operates as a multi-disciplinary Building Services Consultancy. While offering a range of services, its primary focus lies in the design of Mechanical, Electrical, and Public Health Building Services. These designs are meticulously crafted to deliver high-quality solutions while meeting the rising requirements for energy efficiency and reduced carbon emissions.

Key responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive mechanical services design encompassing heating, cooling, ventilation, and domestic water, supported by calculations conducted through software like Cymap/IES.
Prepare client briefing documents and presentations for project presentations.
The Junior Mechanical Engineer will support the technical design and integration of mechanical systems for both new and ongoing projects, receiving guidance from senior colleagues:
* Collaborating on the design and management of individual projects, resolving technical issues under the guidance of senior staff.
* Contributing to various aspects of Mechanical design within the Company.
* Participating in project meetings with senior staff and internal discussions to review progress and policies.
* Creating client briefing documents and presentations for projects to aid Senior engineers.
* Conducting calculations, designs, and assessments as needed for projects, under the supervision of senior team members.
Skills/Qualifications desired:
* Either a current member of CIBSE or actively pursuing membership while striving for Chartered Engineering status.
* Ideally, possessing a minimum of 3 years' experience and actively pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering.
* Proficiency in utilising Office 365, Cymap, and AutoCAD LT.
* Familiarity with IES software is advantageous if available.
* Demonstrating a conscientious and focused approach to your profession.
* Exhibiting the ability to think creatively in resolving engineering and commercial challenges.
* Highly motivated with a robust aptitude for learning and skill development.
* Embracing a positive and collaborative team-oriented attitude.
* Displaying strong verbal communication skills
* Knowledge of Revit/ AutoCAD 3D.
* Previous working experience and knowledge of residential, retail, commercial, and Education sectors.
