£18 per hour
24-7 Recruitment are currently looking for experienced HGV Drivers for an exciting new project a client we are representing, who are starting the new project in the Medway area. This will involve driving an Electric Car with a trailer, delivering pallets to variety of customers, these will curb side drops. There will be an opportunity to go permanent, for the right candidate.
There will be a training and an induction required before starting.
Requirements:
- Professional experience driving an HGV Vehicle
- Experience delivering pallets
- No DD, DR or IN convictions on licence
- Must be 28+ due to insurance
- White glove service (customer facing role - Black polo/shirt, jeans, Hi Viz and safety shoes )
Skills:
- Valid driver's license with appropriate category for operating a HGV Vehicle
- Proven experience as an HGV delivery driver
- Good communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with customers.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and regulations
- Ability to navigate using GPS to locate delivery addresses.
