Labourer

Our client a Kent based Groundworks & Civil Engineering Contractor currently seek an experienced Labourer to join one of their Surfacing gangs on contracts in the ME postcode area.

It is essential that you hold a CSCS card, live a commutable distance from the ME postcode area, can provide a recent work reference for similar work undertook, and have ankle to wrist orange PPE

The work itself consists of Kent County Council new roads and streetworks Black & White top surfacing contracts.

Initially the work will start in Bearstead, Kent, however the location will change daily but always be in the ME postcode vicinity.

Duties will include:

• Loading and unloading materials & tools
• Wheelbarrowing Tarmac and materials too and from layers
• Loading out for pavers
• Ripping up old surfaces
• Hand digging
• Assisting layers and pavers with installation of new black or white top surfaces
• Keeping work areas tidy
• All other associated tasks as instructed

This is an immediate start for the right candidate and can be long term based on performance
