An established principal contractor that complete projects throughout London and Home Counties with values ranging from 300k to 15m in value.Projects completed are predominately refurbishment and alteration works with a small amount of new build.Area of work is focused within the healthcare and education although some works are also within the commercial and industrial sectors. The company are financially secure and have a viable plan to increase turnover significantly within the next five years.

Bid Manager

Client focussed and personally driven, you will have the ability to grow with the company and further develop excellent client relationships.Based in their head office you will report into the Director and work within a close knit and experienced team.

You will need

  • Exceptional experience in the preparation of complex bids and the presentation of bids
  • Knowledge and experience of working in partnering arrangements and preparing bids tailored to specific client needs
  • Responsible for the content, familiarity with all company procedures
  • Set up bid preparation procedures with Managers, review for quality, accuracy, and submission.
  • Maintain the excellent strike rate (very successful to date)
  • Review and obtain feedback
  • Maintain companies ISO obligations
  • Minimum 3 years relevant experience in construction bid preparation
  • Computer literate
  • Good ambassador, polished client facing skills
  • Stable work history
