Contract length:Â Â Â Â Â Â Â 12 months fix term contract
Hours:Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â 37 hours per week
8:45am – 5:15pm (Monday -Thursday)
8:45am – 4:45pm (Friday)
Venn Group are currently recruiting for a Property Clerks of Works to work on a contract in Kent This exciting opportunity is looking for candidates who has a competent knowledge of relevant and current, codes of practice, building regulations, health and safety legislation, standards, and materials.
The successful Property Clerks of Work candidates will be responsible for:
- Ensure all work is delivered on time, to budget and to specified quality standards.
- Monitor our contractors to ensure they meet the required quality and safety standards.
- To provide a high level of customer service to all residents, colleagues and contractors.
- Provide technical support, advice on specifications and standards to be achieved.
- Ensures sites are regularly inspected to check workmanship and standards of
- construction comply with quality controls and are compliant with the agreed materials, contract conditions, current legislation and are defect free.
- Co-operate with contractors safe working practices and report any breaches of health and safety regulations.
- Role model West Kent’s values.
- Undertake any other duties to meet the requirements of the role.
The successful candidate will have:
- HNC or Equivalent in Building Construction
- Full UK Drivers Licence and Vehicle
- Knowledge of IT tools such as Microsoft Office
- DBS Certificate
