The Role: As a Maths teacher, you will have the opportunity to inspire and motivate students to excel in mathematics. Key responsibilities include:
- Planning and delivering high-quality Maths lessons to students across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
- Teaching a range of topics within the Maths curriculum, tailored to the needs and abilities of individual students.
- Using innovative teaching methods and resources to engage students and enhance their understanding of mathematical concepts.
- Providing targeted support and guidance to students to help them overcome challenges and achieve their academic goals.
- Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel motivated to learn and participate.
- Assessing student progress and attainment, providing constructive feedback, and tracking student performance.
- Collaborating with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies and initiatives.
- Participating in departmental meetings, school events, and professional development opportunities to support continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- A degree in Mathematics or a related field.
- Proven experience teaching Maths at Key Stages 3, 4, and/or 5.
- Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for mathematics.
- Strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential.
- Commitment to fostering a positive and supportive learning environment.
- Willingness to contribute to the wider life of the school community.
