An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Customer Support Engineer to join this growing organisation specialising in the design and manufacture of Lighting solutions, based in Kent.

Customers are predominantly based in London and the Southeast. The main aim of this role will be to support construction projects from design to installation, working closely with lighting designers, electricians and installers.

This role will be part of the team of 8 in the Technical Support Function, initially heavily office based whilst training and learning the products and system. After a period of around 12 months you will spend around 50% of the week on site supporting customers and the other 50% in the office dealing with inbound technical queries over the phone and via email.

Skills/Experience required for the Kent based of Customer Support Engineer:

- Experience within Lighting, Construction or AV would be ideal; comprehensive training will be provided

- A strong communicator and confident within a heavily customer facing role

- Fault finder who is very solutions based and technically minded

- Technical understanding of electrical/electronics products

- Strong team player and collaborator
