Adult Social Care Lawyer | Career Grade L7-L9 £47,328 - £61,818 depending on PQEKent | Hybrid Working

Are you a skilled public sector lawyer looking to make a real difference in adult social care?Our client is seeking a dedicated Adult Social Care Lawyer to join its dynamic Legal Services team.

You will handle your own varied caseload, advising internal clients (including senior officers and Members) on a wide range of adult social care matters, including public law, safeguarding, mental health, and community care.

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide clear, strategic legal advice on adult social care matters
  • Draft and negotiate legal documents, and appear in court or tribunals as needed
  • Manage legal proceedings and instruct counsel or experts
  • Conduct advocacy
  • Advise on FOI, Data Protection, and GDPR compliance
  • Support legal planning meetings and provide written and verbal advice to departments
  • Work closely with client departments, delivering Lexcel-standard service
