This is an in-house role for a Disputes Lawyer with experience of Judicial Review, Commercial Litigation and Property Disputes.

Client Details

Our Client is the owner and operator of one of the largest peices of infrastructure in the UK which integral to trade and transport within the British Isles.

Description

The successful candidate will provide high quality, efficient, commercially focused legal advice across a variety of matters, including dispute resolution, public law, statutory enforcement and compliance/regulatory work.

Key Responsibilities include handle general litigation work, including property, landlord and tenant and commercial dispute work as well as advising upon and management of judicial review and dispute resolution proceedings, including advocacy, arbitrations and mediations (where applicable)

You will also advise in respect of:

  • data protection legislation and best practice
  • information law, including responses to Environmental Information Requests
  • governance matters
  • statutes/statutory instruments
  • the regulatory framework and byelaws under which this body operates

Profile

The successful candidate will be a solicitor, qualified in England & Wales who is likely to have 5+ years' experience of working in any of the following areas:

  • Dispute Resolution legal team,
  • Public law legal team or
  • an in house legal team where their focus has been contentious.
