A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Manufacturing Resource Planner to join my client, based in Kent.

My client are one of the leading suppliers of support equipment for military and commercial electro-optical sensors in the world. As the Manufacturing Resource Planner you will be an integral part of the operations team, reporting directly to the Supply Chain Manager. Your role will require you to ensure effective planning of material and resource to meet the demands of the customer's deliveries.

Main duties & responsibilities:

- Managing & controlling the production planning to ensure that production workflow is maximised to meet the output plan

- Ensure parts & materials are delivered on time to meet the production schedule

- Work with the supply team and carry out the duties of a buyer as required to meet the teams output

- Liaise with suppliers & colleagues to ensure that their delivery schedules will be achieved

- Continually improve planning methods & procedures to optimise production performance

- Monitor jobs to ensure they will finish on time and within budget

- Make sure products are shipped accordingly to the plan whilst maintaining compliance with export restrictions

The successful Manufacturing Resource Planner, based in Kent will have experience in manufacturing resource planning (MRP), working knowledge of ERP systems & experience of managing and controlling production.

***This client operates a 9 day fortnight (every other Friday is a non-working day)***
