Graduate Design Engineer

This is an exciting opportunity to join our client’s team as a Graduate Design Engineer.

This role is ideal for a recentengineeringgraduate looking for their firstengineeringrole, or an engineeringgraduate with a couple of years’ experience.

If you have a degree within Chemical, Process, or Mechanical Engineering, and are looking to develop your career, including travel overseas, then LOOK NO FURTHER!

As a Graduate Design Engineer for this forward thinking company you will be:

  • Working both in the office and onsite with opportunities to traveloverseas.
  • Followingtechnicaldrawings from clients to meet their exact productexpectations as well as liaising with the clientqueries face to face, over the phone, and via email.
  • Carrying out sitevisits and surveys pre-contract, as well as mid-contract to ensure smooth running of the projects, and completingfinalreports upon completion of projects.
  • Identifyingequipmentrequirements for projects and arrangingtransportation for them.
  • Ensuring healthandsafetyprocedures are being adhered to at all times and maintaining up to date records and documentation.
  • Liaising with the office to report project updates.
  • Reporting any equipment defects that may occur to ensure it can be repaired or replaced.
  • Any other duties required.

To be successful you will have/be:

  • A Chemical or MechanicalEngineeringdegree ideally but other Engineering disciplines will be considered
  • Some working experience working within power or a related Engineering field, although not essential
  • AutoCAD experience and be computer literate with MS Office.
  • Willing to work both on-site, in the office, travel overseas, and work night shifts on occasions.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment to keep up with demands.
  • Strong communication skills
  • A full, clean, UK driving licence.
