Estates Surveyor

Are you a RICS qualified Estates Surveyor looking for an exciting new full-time role within a well-supported and flexible Local Authority?
We have a great opportunity to join our Client's Property Asset Management team in Kent with hybrid working.

Package

• £45,000(plus market supplement to be discussed) for full time 37 hours working week. Package includes:
• Generous holiday entitlement - 25 days holiday each year plus bank holidays - rising to 33 days after 10 years' service, with the option to buy additional leave

Role
A large and diverse property portfolio and is at a pivotal point in its Property Asset Management cycle. Responding to service delivery changes, they are modernising the property service and envisage the shape of its estate will change significantly, currently it is divided into portfolios led by 3 experienced Principal Surveyors. We are therefore looking for Surveyors to join the Estates and Disposal, Acquisition Teams
As part of team of surveyors aligned to one of the three property portfolios (OPERATIONAL, ESTATE AND TENANTED ESTATE), in line with RICS Standards and the Council's constitution, you will deliver professional property advice on land and property matters. You will also implement estates strategies across a portfolio of assets.

Candidates will need to have: -
·UK resident
·You are a Professional Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors or similar (Estate Management/General Practice/Valuation)
·You will be a self-motivated individual who wants to make a difference to the portfolio and assets you are responsible for and be at the forefront of the improvements to how they manage the Estate
