Sales Ledger Assistant - FMCG - Maidstone - £25k to £27k

A company dealing with FMCG / Perishable goods, is looking for a Sales Ledger Assistant to join its team in Maidstone, Kent. With the successful growth of their company, they are expanding their team and looking for someone to join the friendly, professional accounts department.

SALARY ETC:

  • £25k to £27k + benefits
  • Permanent, full-time
  • Office based in the Maidstone Kent area
  • Monday to Friday

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must have full right to work in the UK
  • Experience in Sales Ledger / Credit Control, with at least 1-year in the UK.
  • Excellent Excel and computer skills, with experience using finance systems to create invoices, data processing, etc.
  • Excellent communication skills, with accuracy and reliability.
  • To have good customer skills
  • Team player and have a positive, friendly and professional demeanour.

DUTIES TO INCLUDE:

  • To ensure the timely collection of all outstanding transactions, account reconciliation and dealing with queries.
  • Generation of invoices and processing of receipts
  • Account allocations and overall support to the Sales Ledger Department.
  • Liaising with customers and setting up of accounts.
  • Collating daily receipts, payment allocation and account reconciliation via the online bank statement.
  • Query handling
  • Sales order adjustments
