An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced accountant to join our clients rapidly expanding Accountancy practice. The successful candidate will have at least 4 years practice-based experience in the UK.
The Role
You will be responsible for a portfolio of clients from a wide variety of industries, from sole traders and partnerships through to large, limited companies and groups.
Your duties will include:
- Preparation of accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies;
- Preparation of management accounts;
- Preparation of self assessment tax returns;
- Preparation of corporation tax returns;
- Review the work of junior members of staff; and
- Managing own workload, and that of junior members of staff.
There will also be the opportunity to be involved in audit work for companies, charities, legal firms and FCA regulated clients.
Candidate requirements
The successful candidate must be highly motivated, have excellent software skills in MS Office and have a good working knowledge of UKGAAP.
