IT Support, Administration & Installation Technician

An exciting opportunity to join a well-established and successful IT Managed Services Provider based in Maldon, Essex.

We’re looking for a motivated and versatile individual to join our friendly, collaborative team. This is a varied and hands-on role that combines IT support, installation, and administration — ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.

About the Role:

You’ll be providing technical support to our growing business client base via phone, remote access, email, and on-site. Day-to-day tasks will include:

• Supporting and installing Windows PCs, Windows Servers, printers, routers, and Microsoft 365

• Assisting with broadband, routers, switches Wi-Fi access points and data cabling

• Getting involved in telephony — supporting and administering mobile fleets, landline, and hosted systems

• Learning about and supporting communications equipment provided to clients

• Travel to client sites (primarily in Essex and London) — access to personal transport is a big plus

• Working collaboratively as part of a close-knit team

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience in IT helpdesk or technical support

• Strong communication skills — clear, friendly and professional

• A practical, proactive attitude, with a genuine interest in IT and problem-solving

• Someone keen to expand their technical knowledge and grow within the IT support sector

• Relevant qualifications and/or demonstrable hands-on experience
