Job Summary

The highly acclaimed award winning Potting Shed Pub in Crudwell, on the southern edge of the Cotswolds, just outside Cirencester is looking for an outstanding General Manager to lead the team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a proven Manager who is looking to take on a high profile role in an extremely busy environment delivering great food, drink and hospitality.

With a fantastic reputation for food and drink with great and nuanced personal service from great staff, The Potting Shed is also renowned for its unique character and sense of fun.

Drawing a local and loyal following as well as being a destination, serving the highest quality, consistently excellent food and drink with the best hospitality.

The Potting Shed is a bustling environment, with a great energy that is genuinely great fun to be part of, both as a customer but also as a member of the team.

We are looking for a real leader, bursting with positivity, personality and professionalism. Experience is a must as you need to hit the ground running to lead and inspire your focused team.

What we are looking for:

- Someone to take real ownership and grab this opportunity.

- Driven, positive, can-do attitude, always on the front foot

- Ability to demonstrate passion for food and service

- Proven Hospitality experience

- Organised with the ability to multi-task

- Keen eye for detail

- Flexibility and problem solving

- A great communicator- with both guests and the rest of the team

- Someone who appreciates that training is key


Responsibilities include:

- Being the face of the Pub.

- take the team forward through organised and consistent leadership.

- Drive 5* standards through everything that you do

- Weekly duties such as stock counts, ordering, menu development, rotas, reporting, chairing weekly meetings.

- Maintenance of the building, health and safety procedures
