As the go-to Design Manger for projects, you'll lead the reconstruction & construction phase design deliverables,ensuring co-ordination right through to client handover stage.

Your Responsibilities:

• Manage the Design on multiple projects throughout Pre-Construction and during construction.
• Chair Design Coordination meetings with the Design Team for each project.
• Manage the flow of information between all key stakeholders - consultants/sub-contractors/site/client.
• Manage the use of the common data environment with the assistance of a document controller - Viewpoint 4Projects.
• Produce the Design Release Schedule in coordination with the project programme and procurement schedule.
• Monitor the release of design information against the agreed Design Release Schedule.
• Coordinate the Design Team and Specialist designing subcontractors.
• Provide technical advice as necessary to the Client/project teams.
• Encourage innovative cost-effective solutions.

Required Skills:

• Experience as a Design Manager working on refurbishment and extension projects.
• Able to take responsibility & be accountable.
• An enthusiastic and determined team player.
• Build and manage strong relationships.
