Your new companyA well established manufacturing business based in Malvern has an exciting new opportunity available for an experienced Office Manager to join them on a permanent basis. This business provides a range of products across the UK and Europe and this role is a key function in the company with a range of duties and reporting to the Directors. Your new roleThis varied role that incorporates managing the infrastructure of the office, managing day-to-day operations, project management, implementing HR policies and procedures and executive support to the Managing Director. The role is primarily focused on the support of the senior management team, assisting them to improve the effectiveness of the people within the business. Core responsibilities include: HR

  • Managing all aspects of the recruitment process within the business
  • Candidate attraction, application, interview process and offer letters
  • Developing employee engagement and the internal review process
  • Overall management of employee training and development against needs
  • Development of on-boarding & off-boarding process
  • Review and maintenance of HR policies, procedures and documentation.
  • Overall development and maintenance of IIP framework and accreditation

PA Duties

  • Dealing with all enquiries and phone calls for directors
  • Keeping track of deadlines and important tasks within the business
  • Taking and managing all management meeting notes and actions
  • Maintaining accountability from meeting actions

Project Management & Co-ordination

  • Keeping records on initiatives within the business
  • Managing corporate directives (such as GDPR)
  • Co-ordinate IT between external support and users
  • Developing Gantt charts, where appropriate to aid project awareness
  • Overseeing aspects of sales and marketing projects identified by director/

The role is full-time, Monday to Friday, based in the office. What you'll need to succeedTo succeed in this role, you will need to have experience in a similar role, particularly where you have a sound understanding of retention maintenance and HR policies. Being confident managing multiple tasks and having adaptability when required will be critical, you will also be confident working with Directors and able to effectively organise tasks as well as implement changes.
