Management Accountant | South Manchester | Manufacturing | £45,000-£50,000Job Overview:Axon Moore are working on behalf of a Manufacturing organisation based in South Manchester who are looking for a recently Qualified Management Accountant to join the team.This is a fantastic opportunity to join a highly performing organisation, but one that is also part of a high performing, global group business. The role will report into a strong senior finance team, who have a strong focus on people development and creating an excellent workplace culture. Operating out of their South Manchester office, the role will provide hybrid working, and will hold a wide remit of responsibilities across Management Accounts.Salary: £45,000-£50,000 + bonus + 8% employer pensionLocation: South Manchester (hybrid working)Main Duties:• Assists with monthly/quarterly/yearly closing of accounts, ensuring that financial statements and financial information is prepared in an accurate and timely manner.• Maintain the Balance Sheet and other financial reports used for reporting monthly data such as KPI Targets.• Reconciliation and review of balance sheet accounts.• Ensure compliance with Group financial standards and compliance with statutory reporting bodies.• Lead, coordinate and consolidate budgets the entity. • Provide accurate and timely management reports.• Assists with training and development of junior members of staff.• Communicate with internal and external auditors. Coordinates the preparation and completion of outside and inside audits for the site. • Take responsibility for all aspects of inventory. This includes valuation, driving improvements to the systems and striving for uniformity in reports and results as well as adhoc information requests and the year end stock take. • Preparing annual standard labour hours and rates data.• Manage the PO and invoice approvals system.• Assists with ERP system upgrades and improvements; drives and supports various process improvement and profitability initiatives (Currently Sage 200).Person Specification:• ACCA or CIMA Qualified.• Experience working in Manufacturing.• Experience with cost accounting.• Strong Excel capability.• Excellent communicator.• Experience working in an environment with tight deadlines.For immediate consideration or more information on the role, please contact Joe Develing at .
