Salary: £50,000 per annum

Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Hours: 40 hours per week / Monday - Friday 9 - 5

About the Role of Clinical Lead:

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Clinical Lead to join our dedicated team at our 120-bed nursing home. This is a pivotal leadership role, responsible for ensuring the highest standards of clinical care and governance across the home.

As Clinical Lead, you will work closely with the Home Manager and multidisciplinary team to oversee clinical operations, mentor nursing staff, and drive continuous improvement in resident care. You'll be instrumental in maintaining a safe, caring, and responsive environment for our residents.

Key Responsibilities for the clinical lead:

  • Lead and support the nursing team to deliver outstanding care
  • Ensure compliance with CQC standards and clinical best practices
  • Conduct audits, risk assessments, and care plan reviews
  • Provide clinical guidance and training to staff
  • Liaise with families, GPs, and external professionals
  • Champion safeguarding, dignity, and person-centred care

Requirements for the clinical lead:

  • Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN/RNLD) with valid NMC pin
  • Proven leadership experience in a care home or similar setting
  • Strong knowledge of clinical governance and regulatory standards
  • Excellent communication and team management skills
  • Passion for elderly care and enhancing quality of life
