Location: NCP Flightpath Irvin Drive M22 5LS

Pay: £12.60 per hour

Hours: 11.5 hour shifts, 4 days on 4 days off

Purpose:

The purpose of this role is to supervise and co-ordinate the activities of a frontline team to achieve the financial budget whilst driving for consistent operational excellence and delivering a safe environment for our customers, colleagues & visitors.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Directly manages 3 to 6 people
  • Deputise for Operations Manager
  • Lead by example to improve customer service/experience
  • Communicate with Operations Manager and Car Park staff to solve outstanding issues
  • Support and assist colleagues to achieve agreed objectives, budget and core
  • standards
  • Report identified criminal activities in accordance with company procedures
  • Monitor the appearance of the designated car park and ensured standard cleanliness
  • and safe working
  • Ensure procedures for handling and banking cash
  • Ensure all NCP properties are free from hazards and take proactive approach
  • Maintain compliance with company policies on health and safety
  • Scan external market activities including competition and report findings to Operations Manager
  • Build Staff Schedules to meet the needs of the business
  • Understand site Business Plan
  • Maintain staff uniform, parking stationary, ticket and refreshment supplies
  • Train frontline colleagues on PCCN process.
  • Employee Engagement Survey; survey process well managed and action plans

  • Set Objectives and Personal Development Plans on Appraisal Forms
  • Completes Monthly Price Checking procedure
  • Can demonstrate a sufficient understanding of the compliance for people related policies and procedures (i.e. new starter/leaver, immigration checks)
  • Deliver a consistent meeting cycle for colleague within your span of control
  • Can demonstrate that they can effectively produce relevant & concise reports when required
  • Has the ability to support other areas when required out of their span of control
  • Can demonstrate a sufficient understanding of recruitment tools/process used consistently to ensure quality/skills/legal standards met
  • Can effectively present to a group of people using Power Point
  • Assist Operations Manager to manage frontline team within budgeted cost, manage overtime, absences, staff hours and other controllable cost

The role holder may be asked to undertake other duties, as required, which are not necessarily specified in this role profile, but which are commensurate with the grade for this role. It may be amended from time to time within the scope and general level of responsibility attached to this role

Requirements:

  • Good IT skills (e.g. MS office) and parking equipment.
  • Previous experience of customer service environment (essential)
  • Previous supervisory experience (essential)
  • Good understanding of Cash Room processes and procedures (desirable)
