CLASS 1 DRIVER

StaffCo Direct is currently serving as a recruitment agency and actively seeking Class 1 Day/Night Drivers/Shunters for a highly reputable client based in Carrington.

We are in search of motivated and adaptable drivers who align with the company's values and can contribute to the seamless functioning of our client's day-to-day operations.

Key details about the job:

• Flexible start times available for both morning and night shifts.
• Night shifts may involve a combination of yard duties and occasional on-the-road driving (shunting).
• The role entails ongoing trunking work with 8-12 hour shifts.
• Responsibilities include ensuring proper documentation of delivery logs, maintaining a well-presented and courteous demeanour, and upholding the high standards of both the client and StaffCo.

Pay details: PAYE

• HGV Class 1 Monday to Friday AM Driver: £16.81 per hour
• HGV Class 1 Monday to Friday PM Driver: £19.00 per hour
  (The above hourly rates are inclusive of holiday pay, you do have an option to accrue holiday pay)

Requirements:

• HGV Class 1 driver with a minimum of 24 months on the license.
• At least 2 years of HGV Class 1 driving experience.
• Possession of a current and valid CPC and DIGI TACHO.
• No more than 6 penalty points (no IN DR or DD codes) for insurance purposes.
• While previous experience is preferred, it is not mandatory.
• Excellent knowledge of the UK road network.
