People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Class 2 Driver to join our well-established client based in Wythenshawe.

Day to Day Duties

• Delivering all around the UK
• 5-20 drops per day also include collections
• Need to be able to strap your load up safely to ensure the load doesn’t shift in transit
• Operate and drive various class 2 vehicles in a safe and efficient manner to and from delivery locations
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Adhere to traffic laws and regulations
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
• Maintain accurate records of shipment, mileage, and fuel consumption
• Report any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management

Essential Skills

• Hold a valid UK C Licence (Class 2 Licence)
• Have an in-date UK CPC Card & UK Digi Card
• Have a minimum of 2 years’ experience driving a Class 2 vehicle
• No more than 6 penalty points and no major endorsement codes
• Must be able to speak and read a good level of English
• Experience operating various trailer types
• Punctuality and excellent time keeping skills
• Effective communication skills
• Flexibility and availability to work overtime as and when required
• Ability to work under pressure and adhere to deadlines

Desirable Experience

Experience driving any commercial vehicles would be beneficial.

Training

Training provided on first shift.
