BMS Applications Engineer – Atherton – Construction/Maintenance - Competitive salary - Hybrid

Overview
Due to continued business expansion, My client have a vacancy within their Engineering department for a BMS Applications Engineer. The role reports to the Service Manager
You will be expected to engineer the strategy and accompanying Graphics for new and upgraded BMS systems based on our customers needs and specification. You will also be expected to install on site and present to the client.

This is a predominately office-based role however occasional site-based travel will be required.

Duties:
• The Integration of third-party systems into the BMS using MODbus, Mbus OR BACnet enabled devices.
• install, modify and demonstrate supervisor graphics
• Make clients aware of the benefits and savings from adapting the system
• Develop standardised graphics and libraries for key BMS
• Analyse and edit existing computer applications to improve functionality
• Remodel and adapt applications as needed to optimise performance
• Install applications and confirm proper communication between equipment and systems

Attributes:
• 5+ years’ experience of the Trend, Tridium or Siemens systems in a similar role.
• To understand control panel design, manufacture, design, and testing.
• Knowledge of instrumentation and integration to 3rd party systems and ability to modify BMS strategies and experience of front end graphics
• To be comfortable and experienced in using Trend SET and Trend IQ Vision
• A full clean driving licence is essential
