Project Manager (Electrical)

A successful, forward thinking and rapidly expanding Building Services company are looking to appoint an Electrical Project Manager to help support and deliver their expanding schedule of works. Based in Manchester, potential candidates should live within a commutable distance of the North Manchester area.

They have a rapidly expanding range of commercial projects with well-known national brands and the successful candidate will be responsible for managing projects from inception to completion within set timescales and budgets ranging from £50,000 - £1,000,000. These range from commercial office space, education, public health as well as other types of commercial properties.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the charge in managing multiple electrical projects from conception to completion, ensuring on-time delivery and adherence to budgetary constraints.
  • Collaborate closely with our Mechanical division to orchestrate seamless joint project executions.
  • Shape the future by contributing to the creation of electrical tenders and overseeing contract management.
  • Monitor project performance, identifying potential risks and implementing effective solutions.
  • Guide and nurture a team of skilled engineers, providing mentorship and support to drive excellence.
  • Implement health and safety practices, maintaining compliance across all project sites.
  • Forge strong relationships with suppliers to build a great working relationship

Experience

  • A strong background in electrical project management delivery.
  • Recognised qualifications such as NVQ level 3, HND / HNC, City & Guilds in Electrical Installation.
  • Experience interpreting tender documents and specifications.
  • In-depth knowledge of relevant regulations and legislation.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, complemented by a willingness to help others.
  • IT proficiency and familiarity with a range of industry software.
  • A passion for driving results and a commitment to delivering excellence.

Salary / Package

  • Basic salary - circa £55,000 (dependent upon experience)
