Role: Site Engineer

Shift: Monday to Friday (Double Days)

Location: Manchester

Benefits: £50,000 + Private healthcare and Pension contribution

The Company

My client are a systems integration business in the warehousing industry. They design, manufacture, build and maintain automation for their customers and are looking for a site engineer to join the team at their newest site in Manchester. My client are an industry leader in their respective industry and have sites all across the UK and Europe. They have been working in the UK for over 20 years and the resident business has a turnover of £100 million. This site in Manchester has had more then £8 million invested to be able to get the site as slick as possible.

The Role

As a Site Engineer:

• You will be responsible for hitting KPIs and looking into the statistics and where the site can be improved
• Managing a growing team on site
• Liasing with the customer and attending meetings with them
• Looking into the RAMS on site and managing the SOPs
• Working on all the latest technology and automation including various conveyor systems, robotics systems, shuttles, A-frame, Auto baggers, Stackers, destackers, labellers, Vision systems, baggage systems.

The Candidate

We are looking for:

• An aspiring engineer to come into the site and hit the ground running
• A recognised engineering qualification
• Able to work confidently electrically and mechanically
• Perform under pressure in a fast moving environment and hit KPIs
