Role Overview

We are currently recruiting for a Fire & Security Service Engineer to join our passionate and driven Security team based at our client’s site in  Norwich

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carrying out small installation works, service calls and pre-planned maintenance of routine inspections on systems such as Access Control, CCTV, Nurse Calls, Fire Systems & Intruder Systems to the relevant standard.
  • Ensure paperwork is correctly completed.
  • Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with the current industry standards as well as working to the NSI code of practice.
  • To be always fully aware of our contractual requirements and our customer needs.
  • Will be expected to be part of the on-call rota.

About You:

  • Applicants must have the right to work in the UK
  • Experience in the installation and servicing of CCTV Systems (Analogue & IP Preferred).
  • Experience in the installation and servicing of Fire Alarm Systems (Analogue & Addressable).
  • Experience in the installation and servicing of Intruder Alarm Systems (Wired & Wireless).
  • Knowledge and understanding of engineering operations within Critical Environments.
  • Experience in the installation and servicing of Computerised Access control systems.
  • Sound technical and environmental awareness.
  • Have a good understanding of Health & Safety issues.
  • Full clean driving license.
  • ECS/CSCS/Trade Card.
  • FIA Modules would be advantageous.
