Shift Flow: Mornings, Nights, Afternoons rotating every week.
Mon-Thurs:
Mornings 06:00:14:00, Afternoons 14:00-22:00, Nights 22:00-06:00
Friday:
Mornings 06:00-12:00, Afternoons 12:00-18:00, Nights 18:00 - 24:00
Start Date: Immediately

The Client
Our client offers wheelset and wheel machining and wheelset, gearbox, and bogie overhauls for the UK rail industry. As leading experts within their field, they have the manufacturing and engineering experience as well as the advantages of vertical integration with their steel forge in Italy. This enables them to offer a range of solutions to leading operators in the passenger and freight markets.

The role
You will be responsible for profiling and realigning wheel sets for the rolling stock industry.
* Experience of Fanuc & Siemens controls
* Experience on Machining Centres / Vertical lathes & borers
* Use of measuring equipment (Micrometres, Verniers etc)
* Ability to read engineering drawings.
* Ability to understanding Tolerances and work within this to drawing requirements.
* Ability to amend programmes using tool offsets.

Qualifications
Minimum requirements NVQ Level 2 or 3 award in a Mechanical or Electrical discipline or equivalent experience.
