Reeson Education is recruiting a passionate and experienced Teaching Assistant to join a warm and inclusive primary school in the M35 area of Manchester. This Teaching Assistant role is to start as soon as possible on a full-time, long-term basis, with the potential to become a permanent position for the right person.

The successful Teaching Assistant will work across EYFS and KS1, providing a mix of general classroom support and targeted assistance for pupils with additional needs. This is a brilliant opportunity for a Teaching Assistant who is confident, nurturing, and ready to make a positive impact across the early stages of education.

Please note: UK-based experience and a relevant Level 2 or Level 3 qualification are essential for this Teaching Assistant role, along with proven experience supporting children in both EYFS and KS1 settings.

Teaching Assistant Key Responsibilities:* Provide classroom support across EYFS and KS1, including 1:1 and group interventions* Support children with a range of needs, including SEN, speech and language difficulties, and emotional regulation* Assist with learning through play, early phonics, and numeracy development* Help maintain classroom structure, engagement, and positive routines* Collaborate closely with the class teacher and SENCO to provide consistent, high-quality support* Encourage independence, emotional well-being, and a love of learning in every pupil

The Ideal Teaching Assistant Will:* Hold a Level 2 or 3 qualification in a relevant field (Essential)* Have recent UK-based experience as a Teaching Assistant* Be confident working across EYFS and KS1* Be patient, proactive, and highly adaptable* Be passionate about supporting children with additional needs and creating an inclusive learning environment* Be a team player with excellent communication and a caring approach

Teaching Assistant Requirements:* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply)* Right to work in the UK* Recent school-based references covering the last 2-3 years* Proven experience working in EYFS and KS1* Experience supporting SEN and general classroom learning
