About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our clients team, focusing on high-profile terminal renovation works at Manchester Airport. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a significant and prestigious project, contributing to the enhancement of one of the UK's major transport hubs and our client is a major M&E building services provider with an excellent reputation in the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage mechanical engineering activities for the terminal renovation project.
Oversee the design, installation, and commissioning of mechanical systems, ensuring compliance with project specifications and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, electrical engineers, and contractors, to deliver integrated solutions.
Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior engineers and other team members.
Conduct site inspections and assessments, ensuring high standards of quality and safety are maintained.
Identify and resolve any engineering issues that arise during the project lifecycle.
Prepare detailed reports, documentation, and project updates for stakeholders.
Ensure all work is completed within budget and on schedule.

Requirements:

Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Extensive experience in a mechanical project engineering role.
Proven track record of managing large-scale projects from conception through to completion.
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems design, HVAC, and plumbing.
Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Proficiency in relevant software and tools
