An opportunity has arisen for an Electronic Test Technician to join a UK company manufacturing leading technology protection relays and medium voltage circuit breakers often for highly critical electrical power systems across a global client base.As Electronic Test Technician, you will be responsible for: - Inspecting and testing PCBs after manufacturing and also assembled final products.Â
- Reporting to the Validation Manager and working closely with both the production and product test teams.
We’re looking for an Electronic Test Technician with: - A strong technical background and one with working knowledge of optical inspection and testing activities.Â
- The ability to work on written instructions and bills of materials.
- Previous experience within an electronics/manufacturing environment is essential.
- Knowledge of the tools used in an electronics environment.
- The ability to demonstrate knowledge of PCB production processes.
- Familiarity with automatic optical inspection programming and operation.
- Familiarity with the Omicron CMC device would be advantageous.
