Corporate Finance Manager opportunity within a specialist firm of M&A / Deal Advisors offering a chance to lead transactions and progress to Director longer-term.

THE COMPANY

This established Corporate Finance Advisory practice has a superb track record in executing lower / mid-market deals (£3m - £50m EV) including Sellside and Buyside M&A, MBO, EOT and Capital Raising transactions. The firm operates on a 'sector agnostic' basis but has developed particular expertise in Business Services, Technology Solutions and Industrials.

THE OPPORTUNITY

A new opportunity has arisen for a Corporate Finance Manager to join the team and take responsibility for project managing small transactions, supporting a Director on larger deals and assisting with the development of junior team members.

You can expect to progress to Director level longer term through commitment and hard work, focusing on project managing deals through to completion, mentoring and development the team and in future securing new deal opportunities through yours and the firm's extensive network.

As Corporate Finance Manager your responsibilities will include

  • Project managing a range of mid-market transactions including Mergers, Acquisitions, Disposals, Management Buyouts and Growth Capital Raising deals in the c.£3m - £50m EV space
  • Overseeing preparation of key documents & materials by Associates, including Information Memoranda, Buyer Research, Market Analysis, Financial Forecasts and Reports
  • Managing Due Diligence processes and acting as key contact for advisors and buyers
  • Lead Advisory negotiations and managing transactions through to deal completion
  • Liaising regularly with clients during deal processes to maintain momentum
  • Building a network with Private Equity Investors, Lawyers and Funders

This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced M&A / Corporate Finance professional from either an Independent / mid-tier practice or specialist Corporate Finance Advisory boutique seeking progression to Director.

THE PERSON

You will be a Corporate Finance Advisory professional able to demonstrate the following:

  • Background & experience in either Independent / Mid-Tier Accountancy Practice or small Corporate Finance practice
  • At least 2 - 3 years M&A / Corporate Finance Transaction experience at lower / mid-market level
  • Good deal management skills, able to manage relationships with clients, funders and other professional advisors
  • A strong desire to develop your career Director within an established M&A / Corporate Finance boutique
