Partner Financial is collaborating with a PE backed company with a significant market presence, currently entering a phase of rapid expansion. The company is undergoing a commercial overhaul aimed at establishing itself as a leader in its market, surpassing its competitors.

Your role will involve offering crucial insights and analysis to steer the commercial decision-making process, including the willingness to challenge assumptions where necessary.

As a vital member of the Finance team, you will engage in strategic business partnering at a senior level across various key departments, playing an integral role in enhancing overall business performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working closely with the business unit to actively drive growth and reduce risk by identifying key insights and emerging trends.
  • Owning the management reporting process and collaborating with senior leadership across other brands to share best practice and insights which might impact the wider business.
  • Acting as a key advisor to the business unit through financial insight and data, helping to continually challenge assumptions.
  • Leading the enhancements in the analysis and comprehension of the investment in CapEx and OpEx.
  • Developing robust business cases to support sizable investments and projects.
  • Developing regular forecasts that accurately predict performance based on trends and drivers.
  • Owning the budgeting process and working closely with internal stakeholders to ensure this is done in a timely manner.
  • Partnering with senior leadership to define and develop appropriate KPIs for the business.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA) with demonstrated PQE
  • Proven track record of building business cases
  • Strong communications skills with the ability to influence upwards
  • Previous experience business partnering across a Tech-focussed directorate with a thorough understanding of their associated KPI’s is highly desirable.
