Duties: Handling road freight export operations, manifesting daily export trailers, sending pre-advice, monitoring shipments start-finish, chasing and processing POD's, transport planning for same day collections, liaising with hauliers for quotations, updating customers, invoicing, general admin/data entry

My clients a global freight forwarder, seeking an experienced Export road freight clerk to join their busy team in Manchester on a 8 month contact.

Duties would include:

Handling road freight export operations
Manifest daily export trailers
Sending pre-advice
Monitoring shipments start-finish
Chasing and processing POD's
Transport planning for same day collections
Liaising with hauliers to provided quotations for special collections/ deliveries
Updating customers
Invoicing
General admin/ data entry

Skills required:

Experience handling road freight exports
Knowledge of European groupage
Ability to work well under pressure
PC literate
Good customer service skills

Working hours:

Monday - Friday 0900am - 1730pm
